cedures other than those specified herein may result in

TO ADJUST THE LASER GUIDE
See Figures 34 - 36.
Set miter and bevel angles to 0º.
Use the work clamp or a C-clamp to secure a piece of
scrap wood.
Plug the saw into the power source and make a slight cut
to score the wood.
Release the switch trigger and allow the saw blade to
stop rotating before raising the saw arm.
Raise the saw arm.
Unplug the saw.
Turn on the laser guide.
To adjust the laser angle:
Loosen the lock screw a 1/4 of a turn so the laser can be
adjusted.
NOTE: Do not remove the lock screw.
Lower the saw arm, then look into the hole on the back
of the upper blade guard and locate the laser adjustment
screw.
Using the Phillips end of the blade wrench, rotate the
laser adjustment screw. The laser angle will rotate in the
same direction as the screw.
Rotate the laser angle clockwise or counter-clockwise
until properly aligned with the cut in the wood.
NOTE: The laser should be parallel with the kerf of the
blade.
Once aligned, tighten the lock screw.
To adjust the laser left or right:
Loosen the adjustment screw on the laser bracket.
Move the laser bracket left or right until the laser is prop-
erly aligned with the cut in the wood.
NOTE: The laser should be on the left edge of the kerf of
the blade.
Once aligned, tighten the adjustment screw.
NOTE: If laser does not align correctly, return to your
nearest Authorized Service Center for repair.
